About Me - How it all started... The beginning of my modeling career really took off when I was in New York City. I ran into a photographer named, Harvey Butts. He used to know where I would hang out a lot and would often approach me with the idea of shooting. Well, I’ve always wanted to be a model. I had even meet with all the top agencies in NY and got turned down because of my height. When I was a kid, in home ec class I would design and sew my own clothes as well as model them down our little runway fashion shows we would put on for our school. I later modeled for Petite Sophisticate and a picture was printed in the local paper. Looking back at that all I can say is wow. That seems SOOOOO long ago. I guess because It was. Seriously though, I was such a virgin with modeling then. You could tell, I had no clue about what I was doing AT ALL! Until that day came, when I finally agreed to shoot with Harvey, I started to get my modeling “groove” down. I was much older and feeling sassy and sexy. I was very happy with how our pictures turned out!
During one of my ventures off to NYC, I had decided to go to a casting for Playboy. I had to wait in line for around 2 hours. When It was my turn I didn’t even care if I was chosen or not, I was just glad to be able to get out of there! The NYC Playboy Producer, Deebee Mae, was the one who is responsible for where I am today! I owe her SOOO much! I remember her being so sweet and great with making me feel comfortable. My first shoot for Playboy, I remember purposely growing out all of my pubic hair for fear that too much would show down below. It’s funny, now I’m like.....wooo hooo....let’s shoot! Let’s just say I’m a lot more comfortable now. Anyway, since then I’ve been blessed enough to be in plenty of covers for Playboy, with my first ever being in May ‘95. I am also blessed to still be shooting for them till this day. In 2005, I appeared in 3 covers for them, one of them being the 100th issue of Playboy's Book of Lingerie, which I am on record for being on the covers nine times. My dearest fans have crowned me as the Playboy’s Book of Lingerie Model of the Year for 1998 and for 2000. It was an amazing experience! The coolest place I got to travel to and shoot for Playboy was Milan, Italy to shoot for their German Playboy publication. That was one trip I will never forget. My favorite cover is one of my most recent covers, Playboy’s VIXENS April 2005. I have so many wonderful memories and am so grateful for all that Playboy’s has given me. For the biggest reward has been meeting my soulmate. If it wouldn’t have been for my career with Playboy we wouldn’t have even met and I wouldn't be as happy as I am today.
